Beijing/ Xian/ Shanghai Tour (7 Days)

Day 1:Arrive in Beijing Airport. Upon arrival, our guide and driver will be greeting you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Hotel: 4-star hotel.
Day 2: Beijing (B/L/D)
An exciting day begins with a visit to the Tiananmen (Heavenly Peace Gate) Square, the largest public square in the world, with an area of 100 acres in the heart of Beijing. Move on to the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, former Imperial Palace, built in the Emperor Yongle period in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. And in the afternoon visit the Summer Palace ,located in the Northwest Suburbs of Beijing, a former royal resort with beautiful men-made Kunming Lake, rockeries, pavilions, and gardens, which is one of the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens in the world.
Day3: Beijing (B/L/D)
Take your long expected excursion to the Great Wall –one of the seven wonders in the world, which was first built in 5th century BC with a total length of over 3300 miles. There, you will live up to the old Chinese saying that “Unless you reach the Great Wall, you are not a hero”. After lunch, you will drive on to the Ming Tombs to tour one of the 13 tombs built for the emperors of Ming Dynasty. Enjoy the famous Peking Roast Duck dinner in the evening.
Day4: Beijing/Xi’an (B/L/D)
In the morning visit the Temple of Heaven. In the afternoon, depart Beijing for Xi’an-- the capital of 13 dynasties over 2200 years, by afternoon flight. Transfer to the hotel after arrival. After a short relax, take a tour of the Ancient City Wall, which boasts the most complete city wall to have survived China’s long history. Visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, which is located in an ancient Buddhist temple built in Tang Dynasty more than 1000 years ago. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty Theatre Dinner Show in the evening.
Day 5: Xi’an/Shanghai (B/L/D)
The highlight today is the Terra-Cotta Warriors - The discovery of the life-size terra cotta soldiers’ draws world attention and it is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world. The excavation site houses one of the most important archaeological finds of our time. The three pits contain more than 7300 warriors, horses and chariots crafted over 2000 years ago in honour of China’s first emperor. Depart Xi’an for Shanghai by an evening flight. Meet and tour the Bund, which is regarded a landmark as well as the birthplace of Shanghai. With a length of 1 km, the bund is dotted with various grandiose solid buildings of western style dating back to the early years of last century in its west, while east of the bund is a new developing Shanghai. Then transfer to your hotel.
Day6: Shanghai (B/L/D)
Visit Shanghai Museum - a comprehensive art museum with a collection of over 123,000 cultural relics. Followed by a tour to the Yu Yuan Garden – a living portrayal of the finest landscaping designs from Ming and Qing dynasties.And shopping on the Nanjing Road. You are going to enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Day7: Depart Shanghai for home by international flight. (B) |
| Beijing/Xian/Guilin/Yangshuo/shanghai (11 days) |
Day1: Flight arrives in the late evening:
We will go right ahead to the hotel.
Day 2: Beijing:
Our first stop is the famous Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest public square. Continue to the “ Imperial Palace ” dubbed as the Forbidden City to explore its many fascinating pavilions. Later, we will visit the Summer Palace, a retreat from the scorching heat for the emperor family in Beijng. In the evening, we will be watching a live performance of Peking Opera.
Day 3: Beijing:
We would spend much of the time traversing the ancient steps of the Great Wall as the highlight of our China tour. Later, we will be taken to the Ming Tomb Museum in the peaceful shadow of Longevity Mountain . The day will not be completed without a feast to a delicious Beijing Duck Banquet.
Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an:
We would conclude our Beijing tour by visiting the Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors pray for good harvests. The afternoon flight will take us to Xi'an , which was the capital of China for 13 dynasties extending over 1000 years. We will visit the the mighty City Wall upon arrival.
Day 5: Xi'an:
Xi'an is home to the life-sized world known Terra-Cotta Warriors of the emperor of Qing Dynasty. The warriors were made to protect the Chinese first emperor even in death. It attracts numerous visitors each year. In the afternoon, we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. We will then be heading to an Imperial Dumpling Banquet followed by an exciting performance of live Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.
Day 6: Xian – Guilin:
We will visit the Hanyangling Museum, the Mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. Followed by a flight to Guilin, southern China shining pearl. The scenery is known as the finest under heaven. Its unique landmark is filled with verdant mountains, elegant waters, magnificent crags and fantastic caverns. We will hit the Elephant Trunk Hil Songs and Dances a spectacular landscape upon arrival . You are invited to enjoy Ethnic Song and Dance at Lijiang Theatre after dinner.
Day 7: Guilin – Yangshuo:
Enduring memories are created as you cruise along the Li River down to Yangshuo. As the old saying goes, "Given Guilin's scenery is the most beautiful in the world; it is only to find itself 2nd to Yangshou's" . Take a short bicycle trip to the countryside to reach village of Yulong then. Watching the sunset in the village might be one of the most unforgettable moments of this trip.
Day 8: Yangshuo – Guilin:
After some free time in the morning, we will head back to Guilin to visit the Reed Flute Cave and the delightful Seven Star Park .
Day 9: Guilin – Shanghai:
Upon arrival, we will stroll along the Bund and enjoy this mile-long stretch of European architecture and thrills of old Shanghai. Next stop in this tour is Xin Tian Di,the newly developed recreation area in Shanghai full of old style theme. During your exploration there, suite yourself and find a western-styled restaurant to have dinner on your own.
Day 10: Shanghai:
The first stop of the day is an old town near Shanghai , Qibao, where the streets were built in Ming & Qing dynasty. Having traditional snacks in teahouses simply turn your clock back for centuries. We will then head to downtown and visit the Shanghai Museum and Yuyuan Garden. At night, we are invited to amazing and spectacular feats of a live Chinese Acrobatics Show.
Day 11: Shanghai – USA:
Bid a fond farewell to China as we board on a flight to our sweet home! |
Beijing/ Xian/ Three Gorges/ Shanghai/ Suzhou Tour(13 days) (China Highlights) |
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing:
Meet upon arr ival at Beijing Capital Airport after clearing immigration & customs, and transfer to the hotel, 4-star.
Day 2: Beijing(B/L/D):
Visit the Tian An Men Square, The Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven.
Day 3: Beijing(B/L/D):
Whole day excursion to the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. Enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner in the evening.
Day 4: Beijing/Xian(B/L/D):
Visit the Summer Palace in the morning and depart Beijing for Xian by MU2130 at 19:20 and Arrive at 21:20. Transfer to Xian Hotel, 4 star.
Day 5: Xian(B/L/D):
Day excursion to the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and city tour including the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty song and dance dinner show in the evening.
Day 6: Xian/Chongqing(B/L/D):
Visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum in the morning and Dept. Xian for Chongqing by MU2267 at 20:20 and arrive at 21:30, transfer to the city centre to have dinner and after dinner drive to the pier to get on board 5-star Regal Cruise for preboard overnight.
Day 7: Cruise on the Yangtze River(B/L/D):
Sails at 8:00am on the Cruise and shore excursion to Fengdu— the Ghost City.
Day 8: Cruise on the Yangtze River(B/L/D):
Sails through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge and shore excursion to Shennong Stream. Enter Xiling Gorge at 16:00 and after navigating The Three Gorges Shiplocks arrive at Sandouping for overnight.
Day 9: Cruise on the Yangtze River(B/L/D):
Visit the world-known Three Gorges Dam Site -- the so far biggest dam in the world.
Day 10: Disembark at Shashi City and Wuhan/Shanghai (B/L/D):
Disembark at 12:00 am at Yichang after breakfast on board and transfer toWuhan by coach (it takes about 3 hours). Arrive at Wuhan. Depart Wuhan for Shanghai Pudong and arrive. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 11: One-day tour to Suzhou(B/L/D):
Day excursion to Suzhou – the famous Garden City. Visit Lingering Garden and Silk Factory and then return to Shanghai in late afternoon.
Day 12: Shanghai (B/L/D):
Visit the Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund and
shopping on the Nanjing Road. Enjoy an acrobatic show in the evening.
Day13: Departure (B):
Depart for sweet home.

Day 1: Beijing Arrival:
Arrive at Beijing International airport, be met and transfer to your Hotel Overnight at Beijing Tailong International Hotel(4*).
Day 2: Beijing:
Sightseeing to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.
Day 3: Beijing:
Sightseeing to the Great Wall and Ming Tomb, enjoy the Peking Duck Dinner in the evening.
Day 4: Beijing/Xian:
Sightseeing to the Temple of Heaven in the morning After lunch take the flight to Xian, arrive Xian, be met and transfer to your hotel Overnight at Xian Soluxe Hotel(4*).
Day 5: Xian: Sightseeing to the Ancient City Wall, Terra Cotta Warriors and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 6: Xian/Kunming:
Take the flight to Kunming, arrive Kunming, be met and transfer to your hotel Overnight at Kunming Hotel(4*).
Day 7: Kunming:
Take the coach to the Stone Forest for full day tour.
Day 8: Kunming: Sightseeing to the Dragon Gate of West Hill, the Golden Palace. Take evening flight to Dali.
Day 9: Dali: Visit the Three Pagodas, Boat ride on Erhai Lake, Ancient City and Residence of Bai Nationality.
Day 10: Dali-Lijiang by coach (4 hours drive):
Visit Black Dragon Pool, old town. Enjoy Naxi Musical show in the evening.
Day 11: Lijiang: Climb Jade Dragon Mountain by lift chair, visit Baisha village.
Day 12: Lijiang-Kunming by morning flight: Kunming-Shanghai by afternoon flight. Upon arrival in Shanghai, be met and transfer to your hotel.
Day 13: Shanghai:
Sightseeing to the Bund, Nanjing Road,Jade Buddha Temple and Yuyuan Garden.
Day 14: Shanghai Departure:
Transfer to the Pudong International airport for the flight home, end of tour. |

Beijing is the capital of China , also the future home to the 2008 Summer Olympics Game. Flight arrives in the evening. We will go right ahead to the hotel.
Day 2: Beijing:

Day 5: Beijing – Lhasa:
The morning flight will take us to Lhasa , the capital of the Tibetan Autonomous Region. This city sits at 12,000 feet above the sea level. We will check into the hotel upon arrival rest andacclimatize.
Day 6: Lhasa:
One day tour takes us to the vast and magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery and a Carpet Factory, where we will find carpets, using the traditional vertical looms by Tibetans. Dinner will be served inside the hotel as less walk will help us to adapt to the high altitude.
Day 7: Lhasa:
We will visit the Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor Street, where many pilgrims in procession can be found along the street. We will then tour Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital followed by Tibet Museum and the Norbulingka Park , which is the Summer Place of Dalai Lamas. Tibetan dance and fashion performance follows dinner.
Day 8: Lhasa – Xian:
We will fly to Xi'an in the morning, the capital of China for 11 dynasties extending over 1000 years. A visit to the mighty City Wall is scheduled on the way to the downtown. A long-waited Dumpling Banquet dinner will conclude your day.
Day 9: Xian:
A visiting to the majestic Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will start our tour. In the afternoon, we will go to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. You are invited to join the live Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.
Day 10: Xian:
Visit Provincial History Museum, a striking Tang-Dynasty style pavilion, houses a large collection of 113,000 historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi . We will have a couple of free hours to explore souvenirs and antiques in the afternoon.
Day 11: Xian - Shanghai:
The tour guide will take us to the Xin Tian Di, the newly developed recreation area in Shanghai full of old style theme. During your exploration there, suite yourself and may find a western-styled restaurant to have dinner on your own .
